Global Health Without Borders:
Acting for Impact
CUGH’s annual conference is a must attend event on the global health calendar. Over 2,000 scientists, students and implementers from academia, NGOs, government and the private sector will present, learn and collaborate to address some of the pressing challenges our world faces. A wide range of medical and non-medical disciplines are represented throughout the in-person pre-conference satellite sessions (free to attend, register online) and the March 7-10th conference. Attendees will be inspired and challenged to learn new skills, gain new contacts and find ways we can improve the health of people and the planet.
Working with our host institutions we will provide an excellent venue to learn, share research, collaborate, and develop partnerships to address the global health challenges we are facing.
7 Subthemes
CUGH is committed to using our conference and activities to bring together individuals from biomedical and nonbiomedical disciplines. Our subthemes and the words beneath them were created to reflect many of the contemporary global health challenges we face and indicate that we are seeking panels, abstracts and speakers representing these disciplines. Equitable, effective, interdisciplinary collaborations are the path forward to impact these threats to people and our planet.

Satellite Sessions
Satellite sessions are half-day or full-day sessions that are in person at the conference hotel. They were created to provide sufficient time and space to convene individuals across sectors, organizations and disciplines to share knowledge, learn and collaborate. They are an excellent format to run a workshop, build skills or develop action plans to address specific global health challenges. Anyone can submit a satellite session proposal. Most are free to attend and are open to all, but they require separate registration.
