This session will examine various issues and aspects raised in doing multidisciplinary work in global health, with fields including anthropology, communications, cinematic arts, law, medicine, public health, public policy, and social work. This session will showcase the wide range of dynamic, innovative, and cross-cutting global health research, education and policy engagement activities happening across the USC campus and with partners around the world. Topics to be addressed include abortion, climate, environmental health, infectious disease, pandemics, pollution, self-care, and the health and rights of transgender populations. The sessions will include ample time for discussion and workshopping of ideas with participants.
